DBxK5 KK needles are suited for certain industrial embroidery machines, and for applications where a deep penetration is required – such as with 3D embroidery, sequins or caps.

• Groz DBxK5 KK Needle is for commercial embroidery machines and deep penetration applications. Recommended for 3D (with thick gum filling) embroidery and Sequin.
• The blade design of the "KK" version corresponds to the standard DBXK5 needle. However, due to its shorter shank, bending resistance is lower.
• Beckert DBxK5 KK variation needles have a shorter shank than the standard DBxK5 needle, and therefore have a lower bending resistance.

DBxK5 SS needles are ideal for sequin embroidery. Beckert DBxK5 SS variation needles have a shorter shank than the standard DBxK5 needle, and therefore have a lower bending resistance.
